EU Citizen Andre Machielsen Denied Entry to USA

Lying Andre Machielsen Deported from USA


In a recent criminal court case in Thialand,  Dutch citizen Andre Machielsen admitted he was denied entry into the United States for lying on his Immigration Entry card by denying his prior criminal drug conviction in Holland.


Mr. Machielsen was rejected by Immigration offcials after landing at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) froma flight originating in Bangkok Thailand.

FBI and ICE officers accompanied Andre Machielsen to an interogation room after discovering he had stated that he had "No criminal convictions" on the mandatory US Immigration Form all arriving international passapngers are required to complete and submit to Immigration officials at the airport after landing.

Once the criminal conviction for a serious drug charge turned up, Mr. Machielsen saidf he thought it was so long ago that it would not have been discovered.

FBI officials told Andre Machielsen it is illegal to lie to Homeland Security offcials about prior convictions for any reason. Mr. Machielsen was then deprted without a hearing and sent back to Thailand where he had been quietly living undetected for 28 years.
